PARTY PUNCH by Mrs. Milo Shirley - 1956
To make 5 qt. of drink, dissolve 2 ½ cups sugar in 2 ½ cups water. Add 2 tsp. Adam’s Best vanilla, 2 tsp. Adam’s Almond extract, 3 tsp. Adam’s red color and juice of 2 to 4 lemons. Stir well. Keep this syrup in ice box ready for instant use.
To serve: use 1/5 glass of this syrup and fill with ice and water. For a punch bowl, add 4 qt. of water and ice to 1 qt. of punch syrup. Serves about 25. For a delicious change, when mixed in punch bowl, add about 16 oz. grapefruit juice or grape, or orange, or pineapple juice.
