50 year Old Shepherd Recipes   Venture into the kitchens of the past if you dare by trying these old fashioned recipes of a bygone generation of Shepherd homemakers

GOOD BAKED BEANS   by  Mrs. Mary Griswold   1961

2 large cans of pork & beans       3 Tbsp. catsup

3 Tbsp. brown sugar                    ½ cup water

1 tsp. mustard                              ½ tsp. salt

1 medium onion                          3 or 4 strips of bacon

     Mix in order given.  Pour in baking dish and strip with bacon.  Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes or until juice is thick
