50 year Old Shepherd Recipes   Venture into the kitchens of the past if you dare by trying these old fashioned recipes of a bygone generation of Shepherd homemakers.

 

FROZEN FLUFF SALAD  by  Mrs. Monroe Williamson – 1956

 

1 cup cottage cheese                           15 marshmallows, quartered

1 small can crushed pineapple            1 cup whipped cream

                                                            pinch of salt

 

    Mix pineapple, cottage cheese, and marshmallows, and let stand a few minutes.  Then add salt.   Fold in whipped cream.  Put in freezing tray and chill.  Cut in squares and serve for a salad or as a dessert.
