FIRECRACKERS by Mrs. Grace Lilly - 1961
1 – 4 oz. can Vienna sausage 1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 can tuna, flaked 6 slices rye or white bread
˝ cup chopped, stuffed olives 6 slices of pimiento cheese
˝ cup diced celery 6 pimiento strips, ˝” long
Reserve 3 sausages for trim; chop remainder and combine with tuna, olives, celery, and mayonnaise. Spread mixture on buttered bread; cover with cheese. Cut reserved sausages in half lengthwise and place on cheese with pimiento at end for firecrackers. Broil 4” from heat until cheese melts. Serve with relishes.
