50 year Old Shepherd Recipes   Venture into the kitchens of the past if you dare by trying these old fashioned recipes of a bygone generation of Shepherd homemakers.

 

CHICKEN CASSEROLE  -  by  Mrs. David Watson  -  1961

 

1 pkg. egg noodles                1 cup milk

1 can boned chicken              2 Tbsp. butter

1 can mushroom soup           2 Tbsp. flour

1 cup velveeta cheese

 

     May add small jar pimiento and chopped bell pepper, if desired.  Crush 1 pkg. crackers in 1 stick butter and place on top.  Cook noodles, then add other ingredients and pour into greased Pyrex.  Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
