CABBAGE & OKRA DISH by Clodia Pope - 1961
2/3 parts of cabbage hot peppers
1/3 part of okra 1 tsp. chili powder
1 large onion 4 or 5 fresh tomatoes or canned
1 clove garlic bacon or bacon drippings
green peppers to taste salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients, put in thick boiler or skillet. Cover; cook slowly until done. Use very little water, if any.
