BARBECUED SPARERIBS by Mrs. Ed Byrd - 1961
5 or 6 lbs. spareribs cut 2/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
into convenient pieces 1 ˝ tsp. chili powder
5 or 6 onions 1 ˝ tsp. salt
3 lemons Tabasco
2 cups tomato catsup
Place spareribs meat side up in a large roaster. Slice onions and lemons thin and spread evenly over meat. Mix catsup, sauce, chili powder, salt, and several dashes of Tabasco with water to taste and pour into pan. The liquid should be 2” deep. Cover roaster and bake 1 ˝ hours. Add more water and Worcestershire, using your own judgement.
