BARBECUE SAUCE – by Mrs Ruth Harvey – 1956

 

1 stick oleo                                   2 Tbsp. chili powder

1 onion chopped                          1 tsp. prepared mustard

2 cloves garlic                             1/3 cup vinegar

1 can (#2 size) tomato juice        2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

½ tsp. salt

dash or 2 of tabasco

 Cook onion and garlic in oleo.  Do not brown.  Add rest of mixture and just bring to a boil
